About Our Client

Work for a large privately owned industry leader. ASAP Start available. You will be joining a privately owned port-side, bulk liquid storage operator, providing high-quality services and solutions. They pride themselves on their efficient operations and commitment to excellence in their field.

Job Description

The key elements of the role are as follows:

* Proactively communicate with internal business unit stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure all P2P needs are met whilst ensuring they reflect commercial contractual arrangements.
* Prepare, raise & coordinate goods receipting and control purchase orders in Navision for operational requirements at Pinkenba.
* Liaise with suppliers regarding status of outstanding orders and invoices and assist finance, where required, to facilitate on-time payment of suppliers.
* Assist Site Management to manage actuals to budget and forecast for Opex when needed.
* Assist in performing Budget to actual variance analysis as required.
* Assist in the management of site inventory - work with operations team and assist with ordering of stock if needed.
* Support managing business compliance to the procurement standard and finance policy and related procedures and processes.
* Liaise with Procurement Manager to ensure contractual arrangements are utilized and leveraged through the Navision system.
* Present a good positive company image to suppliers and their representatives and foster good working relationships with them.
* Assist Procurement Manager in investigating P2P non-compliance when required.
* Complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting on operational performance.
* Provide administrative support to update site Work Instructions and Operating Procedures as and when requested by the Operations Manager.
* Assist the Operations Manager with budget planning and operational cost (Opex) control.
The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate Will Need To Have:

* Sound knowledge of Procurement Standards, Finance policies, and associated guidelines.
* Preferred previous work experience in a similar role, performed to a high professional standard.
* Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong numeracy skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Well-developed computer and data entry skills; experience with Navision is desirable.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
