About the role
We're looking for an experienced Barista to join our passionate team at The Happy Turtle Cafe' in Caloundra, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering flexible work hours (25-38hrs) to suit your lifestyle. As our Barista, you'll be responsible for crafting delicious coffee and beverages that delight our customers.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing a range of coffee and specialty beverage orders to our high standards
2. Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
3. Maintaining a clean and organised work station
4. Assisting with general cafe duties as required
5. Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Barista in a fast-paced cafe environment with speciality coffee standards.
2. Excellent coffee making skills and knowledge of coffee equipment and techniques.
3. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team while connecting with customers.
4. Flexible and adaptable, able to work a range of shifts including weekends and public holidays
5. Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing high-quality service
