This non-profit foundation is seeking a passionate Executive Assistant to support a highly driven CEO and Team. The organisation was established to benefit the disadvantaged communities across Australia, whose needs are not covered by Government sources. Established for over 30 years, the foundation is built on strengthening communities as well as individuals in need focusing on education, social justice, health, and systemic change.
The role is based within the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, centrally located close to public transport. The position is full time Monday to Friday with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week, with some domestic travel required.
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the CEO as well as office support to the highly motivated team.
The duties will include but not be limited to:
- End to end diary management
- Preparing board reports and minute taking
- Coordinating travel arrangements
- Reconciling expenses
- Managing internal and external stakeholders with the highest confidentiality
- Assisting with events, community projects and meetings
- Facility maintenance and ensuring WHS standards are adhered to
- Ordering office and staff supplies
- Various administrative tasks as required
To be successful for the position you must have the following:
- Proven previous experience within a similar position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Uphold principles of equity, inclusiveness, and fairness.
- Advanced computer skills
- Proven time management and organisational skills in fast paced environment
- Professional, tactful, and diplomatic
- Ability to multitask and meet conflicting deadlines
- Work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week; This is not a remote position
- Non-for-profit experience highly advantageous but not essential
