The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join as a Dental Unit Head in a part timetemporary basis until 11 August 2024 .
You will be responsible to provide leadership andgovernance of the Dental clinical activities of the WCHN, settingclinical direction including the development and implementation ofplans and monitoring and reporting of clinical objectives anddevelopment of Policies, Procedures and Clinical PracticeGuidelines.
Encourage and support teamwork and coordination amongst stafffor optimal clinical service outcomes and develop a strategicapproach to the planning and evaluation of Paediatric Dentalservices. Maintain a program of quality and safety improvementthrough continuing professional development, department meetingsand departmental audits.
About you
To be eligible you must have registration as a Dentist and aDental Specialist with the Dental Board of Australia.
You should have experience in leading and management of aclinical team in a public sector environment.
Should also have experience as a Senior Dental Specialistin Paediatric Dentistry at a tertiary referral paediatrichospital.
