* Desktop Support Technician
Description:
This role is for an onsite IT support technician responsible for providing second-level end user IT support and problem resolution at our client site.
The successful candidate will be highly skilled in desktop PC & laptop hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution.
Key responsibilities include supporting MS Teams meeting room equipment, general IT troubleshooting and assistance on site, managing incidents and knowledge base articles within the Service Management tool, keeping the stock/build room tidy and in order, managing eWaste, facilitating user training sessions, assisting with project work, and participating in occasional after-hours/weekend support activities.
Requirements:
Qualified in an IT related discipline and experienced in supporting IT technologies including PC & laptop hardware support, Windows 11, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office and having a basic understanding of networking.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, natural curiosity, ability in problem solving, planning and priority setting, coupled with a strong focus on customer service are critical.
A driver's license is required as you may occasionally be required to attend other sites.
