Adaptas Solutions is an innovative technology company which develops scientific product solutions for mass spectrometry, a growing field used to detect sample impurities in medical, security and environmental segments. Our purpose-built facilities located in Clyde, Sydney, is looking to expand our R & D team and we would like to hear from you! The successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a best-in-class research and development team who are passionate about developing real world solutions for our customers through original research. A background in mass spectrometry and/or physics ideally with a passion for original research would be highly regarded. We are interested in receiving applicants from both an academic and industry (mass spec) background of various years of experience.
Other attributes that we are looking out for:
* Bachelor’s Degree (Science) in Physics or a related discipline. PHD preferred with further research experience advantageous.
* Experience in the development of Mass Spectrometry instrumentation and/or vacuum physics (charged particle detection advantageous).
* Surface Science experience.
* Computational Physics experience.
* An established interest in solving complex technical problems.
* Experience with designing and implementing computer simulation methods and Monte Carlo techniques.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
* Experience in the design of complex electromechanical technologies.
