We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented Digital Project Coordinator / Project Manager to support the Diageo APAC Content Studio in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional who has a strong understanding of Australian culture, is highly organised, and eager to grow in project coordination and digital marketing.
Reporting to the Diageo APAC Content Studio Lead, you will serve as the on-ground bridge between market teams, APAC stakeholders, and specialist agencies, helping to manage briefs, align work across different teams, and ensure campaigns reflect both global standards and local cultural nuances.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in global marketing operations and develop skills in digital activation. This role gives you firsthand exposure to content production using AI and other cutting-edge tools, positioning you at the forefront of marketing innovation.
Bilingual skills in Mandarin (spoken and written) alongside English are preferred, as this role will involve working with both local Australian stakeholders and regional teams across China.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a liaison between the APAC Content Studio and market teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
* Bring a strong understanding of Australian cultural nuances to ensure briefs and content reflect the right local tone, style, and market sensibilities.
* Manage and link workstreams, briefs, and requirements across APAC teams (e.g., product launches, trade activations, digital campaigns).
* Coordinate with local specialist agencies (media, customer, activation, trade) as required.
* Support project tracking, timelines, and reporting across the APAC Content Studio.
About You / Key Requirements
* Early-career professional with 1–3 years' experience in a marketing or creative agency environment in Australia, with exposure to project coordination, campaign management, or content production.
* Deep understanding of the Australian market, including consumer behaviours, media landscape, and culture.
* Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is preferred, with strong cross-cultural understanding.
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator, able to liaise across multiple stakeholders and teams.
* Experience working in fast-paced agency or in-house creative environments with tight deadlines.
* Familiar with project coordination tools and comfortable managing deadlines.
* Available for hybrid work (3 days in Sydney office).
Working Model
* Hybrid setup: 3 days per week in Diageo's Sydney office (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one additional day), 2 days WFH.
* Reports to: Diageo APAC Content Studio Lead.
