About The Opportunity
Join the team at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre and be part of delivering outstanding experiences to our community. This front-line customer service role is essential to ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable environment for patrons attending cinema screenings and live theatre events. As an usher, you'll play a key role in guiding guests, assisting with seating, and supporting overall front of house operations. The role may also involve helping with candy bar or bar service, as well as assisting venue staff in maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the venue. If you enjoy engaging with people and thrive in a dynamic, event-driven environment, this is a great opportunity to be part of a vibrant cultural hub.
About You
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
* Financial literacy adequate to support cash handling.
* Demonstrated customer service skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work calmly and effectively in stressful situations.
* Physically able to stand for long periods of time.
* Provision of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia wide – name only)
