About the Role
The Westcon Marketing Executive is responsible for developing, implementing and executing the marketing strategy for the portfolio of vendors. This role requires a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual capable of prioritising and juggling multiple projects, plans and activities across a portfolio of vendors. As a driver of the Westcon brand, you will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop quarterly marketing plans with vendors and internal stakeholders.
* Serve as primary point of contact for vendor marketing activities including planning, budgeting, development and rollout of all marketing activities.
* Manage the MDF/Co‐op budget for your portfolio of vendors.
* Align channel marketing strategies with both Westcon and vendor business goals.
* Support the sales growth of Westcon and its vendors through the successful planning, design and implementation of marketing programs.
* Develop integrated marketing programs to drive sales awareness and generate leads, supporting Westcon and vendor goals and objectives, using a variety of communication mediums via on and off‐line channels.
* Become marketing 'champion' in communicating marketing programs to internal sales teams, partners and prospects, as well as vendor representatives.
* Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders – including Vendor Business Managers, Sales Leads & Business Development Managers to develop marketing plans that drive partner stickiness, incremental revenue and achieve overarching business objectives.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, fellow Westcon Marketing Executive and broader marketing team to ensure activities are executed to plan.
* Present the marketing strategy and execution at vendor quarterly business reviews.

* Strong digital acumen; ability to utilise a myriad of digital platforms and tools.
* End‐to‐end event management.

* Budget management.
Experience
* Solid B2B marketing experience (1–2 years minimum).
* Digital marketing experience; intimate knowledge of Pardot or equivalent marketing automation platforms, some CMS experience preferred.
* Proven event management experience.
* Design experience preferred (Adobe suite; Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver).
* Strategic and tactical marketing experience.
* Solid channel marketing experience in IT industry preferred.
