As a Clinical Supervisor in the Programs Department at Acacia Prison, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions to support rehabilitation and reduce reoffending.
As a Clinical Supervisor in the Programs team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Providing leadership and clinical guidance to Psychologists, Social Workers, and Program Facilitators
- Conducting clinical supervision, mentoring, and coaching to ensure program quality and integrity
- Supporting program facilitators with feedback, training, and professional development
- Ensuring responsive and inclusive program delivery that supports diverse prisoner needs
- Contributing to program development, research, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promoting a culture of respect, safety, and wellbeing across the team
To Be Successful In This Role You’ll Have
- A recognised degree in Social Work (AASW accredited) or full registration as a Psychologist (AHPRA), with minimum 2 years’ experience
- Experience in group facilitation with complex behavioural or mental health needs
- Robust leadership skills and experience providing clinical supervision (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for offender rehabilitation
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team within a correctional or institutional setting
