Business
Operations Manager
to support our Audit & Assurance division in Perth.
As a member of our leadership group, you will work closely with Partners, Directors and Managers to drive operational efficiency, support workforce planning, and influence positive change across the audit practice.
What You'll Do
Resource Planning & Workforce Management
* Collaborate with the leadership group to manage staff allocation across audit engagements, ensuring optimal utilisation and timely delivery.
* Use data‑driven tools to monitor capacity and resolve scheduling challenges.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
* Partner with People & Culture on recruitment processes and interview coordination.
* Oversee onboarding to ensure new team members are set up for success.
Performance & Development Support
* Co-ordinate the performance review cycle, including goal setting and feedback collation.
* Promote a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
* Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce administrative burden.
* Support internal projects that enhance quality and improve team productivity.
Client & Business Support
* Assist Partners and Directors with tender preparation and client onboarding.
* Ensure operational readiness for new engagements.
Team Collaboration & Change Support
* Act as a key liaison across the audit leadership group on operational priorities.
* Support change initiatives and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
About you:
* Experience in operations, project coordination or resource management within a professional services environment (audit/accounting experience beneficial).
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the capacity to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. You are confident in workforce planning and using scheduling or project management tools.
* A knack for improving processes and implementing new systems or initiatives. You embrace technology and data - whether it's adopting a new software for scheduling or analysing productivity metrics - to make informed decisions.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes.
Eligibility to work permanently in Australia is required for this role. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
