Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to ensure the smooth operation of complex systems at our logistics sites in the Adelaide area, supporting key clients in the wine production and packaging industries.
This is a 12-month residency, split evenly across two facilities located approximately 20 minutes apart, both within the Adelaide region — around 6 months (22 weeks) at each site. The rotation will follow a weekly schedule, typically alternating two weeks at each site, with planning agreed in advance between all parties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities on equipment to ensure efficiency. Additionally, they will carry out preventive maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans, report on system performance and performed activities, and build and maintain strong relationships between stakeholders.
A key aspect of this role is organizing periodic meetings with representatives to discuss system performance and conducting on-the-job training for personnel. The successful candidate will also promote improvement activities, modifications, and extensions to the system or equipment, co-supervised by their Direct Manager and in agreement with the Area Manager.
Other responsibilities include managing spare parts on-site, suggesting reorder points and purchases as needed, and organizing and managing the maintenance area, tools, and equipment available from E80 Group and/or the Customer.
