As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Associate Financial Adviser to join our dynamic team in Applecross.
Overview
As an Associate Financial Advisor, you'll dive in from day one, gaining hands-on experience by supporting senior advisers. You'll prepare critical advice, participate in client meetings, and master the art of guiding individuals toward their financial aspirations. This role is a blend of financial modelling and direct client engagement, all within a people-first culture designed for your growth. Best of all, you'll have a clear pathway to becoming a Qualified Financial Adviser, with dedicated coaching and support from our principal advisers.
Responsibilities
* Manage initial client contact and attend client meetings with Principal Advisers.
* Generate precise file notes and action items post-client meetings.
* Assist in strategy development and liaising with external paraplanners to prepare quality financial advice documents.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for research, modelling, and calculations supporting advice preparation.
* Ensure optimal client outcomes through close collaboration with Principal Advisers and Client Services team.
Skills and Experience / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
* RG146 qualification (or working toward it).
* A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrable experience within the Financial Services industry.
* Completion of the Professional Year (PY) program will be highly regarded but is not essential.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and desire to grow professionally.
* Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
