Synopsis
Haileybury is seeking a qualified and experienced VCE Humanities/Commerce Teacher to join our Senior School team at the City campus. This is a full-time position commencing 20 April 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and support students in their learning journey within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality curriculum and pedagogy using Haileybury's Explicit Instruction model, applying best practice teaching methods and staying current with modern educational frameworks.
* Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively within the school community, working closely with colleagues to design blended learning resources and develop meaningful assessments.
* Use a range of assessment strategies to accurately measure student progress, integrate digital learning tools into your teaching practice, and actively participate in ongoing professional development.

* Brings experience and passion for teaching VCE Humanities/Commerce, using evidence-based practices to actively engage students.
* Builds safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environments, fostering collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking among students and colleagues.
* Utilises technology to enrich learning, and actively engage in professional growth through data-informed practices and collaboration.
