We are seeking an experienced lawyer at a second year to senior associate level to join our Insurance Litigation team in Melbourne on a full-time basis. This role will see you work alongside a highly collaborative and supportive team.
Practice focuses on
* public liability, and other personal injury / property claims where we act for government departments, public hospitals, public authorities, government contractors and community service organisations.
* acting for self-insured WorkCover clients.
About the role
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading team of lawyers where you will provide exceptional legal advice to clients, conduct defence as required, assist the senior lawyers and appear in court.
Subject to your experience, you will have autonomy to take ownership of the day to day running of files with supervision and mentoring from senior members of the team. You will also be encouraged to be involved in firm activities and committees.

To be successful in this role you will have experience focusing on litigation, working in private practice on matters relating to personal injury, general liability and WorkCover.
You are hardworking, dedicated and possess a high level of integrity when dealing with clients and colleagues. A high level of client service is expected as are excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills.
