About the role:
We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our growing Information Technology team at EastLink, to define and guide the strategic direction of EastLinks Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within corporate and tolling environments.
The Infrastructure Architect leads a consistent, integrated approach to infrastructure design and management. The role maximises vendor partnerships, strengthens disaster recovery, and ensures resilient, scalable environments. It also provides expert guidance on emerging technologies, future design, and architectural direction.
In this role, you will (but not limited to)
* Lead IT infrastructure architecture, governance, and lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and automation in a fast-paced environment.
* Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure high-performing, secure, and reliable ICT, telephony, and roadside systems.
* Support disaster recovery, business continuity, risk management, and cost optimisation across cloud and on-premise solutions.
* Ensure compliance with ITIL practices and deliver expert financial and architectural guidance for scalable, resilient services.
The ideal candidate will have: Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering or related discipline (mandatory).
* Accreditation with ITIL 4 and PRINCE 2 will be highly regarded.
Experience
* Demonstrated 5+ years' experience as an Infrastructure Architect within ICT support environments (mandatory).
* Equivalent industry (industry-relevant 10+ years) experience (desirable).
* Extensive experience with: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, RedHat Linux, Microsoft Windows virtual environment Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure, Palo Alto firewall, Microsoft Fabric/Power BI, Commvault and Networking technologies (Aruba, Cisco, etc.).
