ABOUT THE RELIGIOUS STUDIES TEACHING ROLE
* Position: Religious Education Teacher
* Start Date: Term 3, 2025
* Type: Full-time, ongoing
Location: South-East Melbourne
Teaching Allocation Includes:
* Religious Education – Year 8
* Religious Education – Year 9
* Religious Education – Year 11
* VCE Religion and Society – Unit 1
* Year 8 Pastoral Program
THE IDEAL RELIGIOUS STUDIES TEACHER WILL:
* Hold relevant secondary teaching qualifications (e.g. B.Ed., M.Teach)
* Be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
* Demonstrate excellent teaching practice and student-centred learning strategies
* Have a sound understanding of Catholic education and contribute positively to the faith life of the school
* Build inclusive and respectful classroom environments that support student wellbeing
