ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and compliance at our Ormeau facility.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a growing food manufacturing environment. You’ll help strengthen quality systems, lead improvement initiatives, and work with a committed team focused on delivering safe, consistent, high‑quality products. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Oversee QA/QC across production and delivery.
* Manage CCPs, audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, GMP, Safe Food QLD, SQF).
* Lead non‑conformance investigations and CAPA processes.
* Drive a “Quality‑First” culture through training and coaching.
* Maintain documentation, quality records, and the Quality Management System.
* Support NPD, Production, and cross-site QA alignment.
* Lead and develop a small QA team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Relevant tertiary qualification in a technical or scientific discipline
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
* Strong working knowledge of quality management principles, tools and techniques
* Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply industry regulations and standards
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
* Proficient in data analysis and quality reporting
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement
