Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team and contribute to providing exceptional emergency response services in a dynamic and challenging environment.
This role involves working as part of an emergency response team, providing first response to incidents, and assisting with training and HSE activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Medical and Rescue Emergency Response & Injury and Health Management, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
About the Role
* Provide first response to incidents on site
* Assist a team of Paramedics, Nurses, and ESOs to respond to emergency situations
* Support training and HSE activities in a mining environment
The successful candidate will be offered a roster that provides work-life balance, including 7 days off/7 days on rotation with both day and night shifts. This FIFO role is based in Moranbah QLD for those who do not reside locally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to emergency situations and provide medical assistance
2. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver training programs
3. Contribute to HSE activities to ensure a safe working environment
4. Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
* At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Paramedicine
* Degree in Paramedicine or related field
* AHPRA Registration
* HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
* HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
* HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
* Australian Driver's License - C Class, open license (Manual, Heavy Rigid desirable or willing to obtain)
* Proof of right to work in Australia
* Current up-to-date immunizations - Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
