Overview

Central Australian Aboriginal Family Legal Unit – Alice Springs NT

CAAFLU is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Management Officer to oversee and manage our Actionstep case management system. Along with data management CAAFLU is also looking for proactive, and solutions focused ICT Support Engineer to oversee day to day ICT operations and manage.

This role is primarily responsible for maintaining accurate and timely data entry across all client files, legal matters, court records, and service activities. The position plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, compliance reporting and operational efficiency across the organisation. This role is responsible for maintaining the organisation's ICT infrastructure, providing internal technical support, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data within our Actionstep case management system. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for internal ICT support and work closely with our external third-party IT provider to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

* Data Management and System Oversight
o Manage and maintain the Actionstep case management system
o Ensure accurate and timely entry of all clients, case, court and service data
o Monitor file completeness and maintain high data quality standards
o Conduct regular data audits and resolve discrepancies
o Maintain workflows, templates and system processes within Actionstep
o Provide guidance and support to staff and training on correct data entry practices
o Any additional task requested by management
* ICT Support and Systems Management
o Provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support to staff across the organisation
o Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and user access issues
o Escalate complex issues to the external IT provider and manage support tickets through to resolution
o Maintain and monitor computers, printers, internet connectivity and office technology
o Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls
o Support Microsoft 365, email systems, cloud storage and cybersecurity compliance
o Assist with ICT procurement, upgrades and system improvements
o Ensure data security, backups and compliance with organisational policies

Key Selection Criteria

* Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience
* Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Experience working with case management or database systems, experience with Actionstep highly regarded
* High attention to detail and strong data management skills
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical staff
* Previous experience in ICT role and have worked with Data management for at least 3 years
