**Supply Chain Lead**
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic customer focused go-getter to join the Hanson team in **Launceston, Tasmania**. The Plant Controller has excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the construction industry.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, including overtime and rostered Saturday work according to business needs.
**In your new role with us, you will be**:
- Overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant
- Operating a front-end loader (FEL)
- Regularly interacting with customers, taking orders & scheduling deliveries
- Working in a high performing team, collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes for Hanson and the customer
- Able to demonstrate safety and show coach and mentoring potential
- Ensure all products adhere to strict quality requirements
- Monitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as required
- Managing maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handling

**What we offer**:
- $28.14 - $29.97 per hour - pending experience/qualifications, plus penalties, plus super
- Monday - Friday starting from 4:30/5:00am - 3:30/4:00pm + rostered Saturday mornings finishing up around lunch time
