About this role:
* Due to an internal promotion, a senior leadership position exists for a Planning and Landscape Architecture leader within a community development team.
You will bring strong commercial acumen and proactive leadership skills to ensure the delivery of excellent outcomes for clients and business objectives.
This role reports to a business leader and is responsible for building strong client relationships, developing business opportunities, and providing technical expertise to ensure project success.
* Monitor and report on team performance.
* Prepare and implement annual budgets and business plans.
* Initiate and manage business development opportunities.
* Coordinate resource requirements with technical leaders.
* Ensure allocated projects meet client expectations.
* Participate in projects as a leader or member of a project team.
* Manage team utilisation and delegation.
* Assist with client pursuit and project bid preparation.
* Review and monitor staff performance.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably post-graduate.
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in related work, leadership, financial management, and consulting.
* Professional registration in a related field.
* Experience in managing teams and delivering complex infrastructure projects.
* A broad range of skills covering people management, commercial management, contract negotiations, business development, financial management, project delivery, and business management.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
* Well-developed problem-solving and negotiation skills.
