Citipointe is seeking an experienced and dedicated School Nurse for our School Health Bay Supervisor position to commence as soon as possible.
This is a full time, term-time role (no work required during the school holidays)

School Nurse - School Health Bay Supervisor
The School Health Bay Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Health Bay through delivering essential first aid services to students, staff and parents. This position will also serve as the College's dedicated Return to Work Coordinator, ensuring high standards of rehabilitation for workplace injuries and illnesses among our staff. The incumbent will present a professional image and create a welcoming, warm and positive impression.
Key Responsibilities
Support and supervise the day to day operational delivery of the School Health Bay including:
* Oversee Health Bay operations and ensure staff compliance with guidelines
* Update and maintain Health Bay documentation
* Manage health bay stock and storage, including first aid kits and defibrillators
* Assist students, parents, and staff with health-related issues
* Record and update medical records for students and staff
* Administer student medication as per schedule
* Liaise with School Heads and Student Counsellor for high-risk students.
About you
Skills
* Current "Provide First Aid' Certificate
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic health and administration procedures
* Display proficiency in using computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, and student records software
* Demonstrate supervisory experience, including ensuring efficient daily operations within a health bay, nursing station or similar setting
* Experienced in serving as a workplace Return to Work coordinator, with experience managing WorkCover claims administration (desirable)
* Exhibit excellent telephone communication skills
* Show the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage face-to-face with staff, students, and parents

Mandatory Criteria
* Active and committed to Christian faith and Citipointe statement of faith.
* Characteristics that provide a positive role model to students at the school
* Understanding of and adherence to Child Safe Standards and Student Duty of Care.
* Current Working with Children Suitability Card - The successful candidate will require a paid Blue Card before commencement.
* First Aid Certificate or the ability to attain one.
* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
Desirable Criteria
* Recent experience in a school or similar environment.
