We’re looking for a highly skilled technician to join our growing team, supporting critical electrical maintenance and testing services across industrial and commercial facilities.This position requires traveling to customer sites to perform a variety of work. Work does often require overnight travel, working nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Technicians must be able to manage their time efficiently, arriving on remote customer sites at the scheduled times and communicating regularly with customers and Infinity TSD scheduler regarding site work.Perform startup, preventive maintenance, and testing on low and medium voltage switchgearConduct primary and secondary injection testing on low voltage circuit breakersPerform medium voltage circuit breaker maintenance and testingTest and evaluate medium voltage cables, including insulation, VLF, TD, and hipot testingCarry out transformer testing, including insulation resistance, turns ratio, and power factor testingTroubleshoot and repair issues related to circuit breakers, switchgear, and MCCsAccurately document test results, findings, and recommendations in detailed reportsCommunicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and project teams on site conditions and resultsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical power system testing and maintenanceStrong understanding of LV and MV electrical systems, safety protocols, and test equipmentProficient in using test equipment such as primary injection test sets, secondary test sets, insulation resistance testers, TTR, DLRO, etc.Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and electrical schematicsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work independentlyFamiliarity with NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, NETA ATS/MTS, and IEEE testing standards a plus Preferred (Nice to Have)Experience in motor testing (insulation resistance, winding resistance, etc.)Battery system testingNETA or NICET certificationProtective relay testing experienceOSHA 10/30 or NFPA 70E safety training certification What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate with overtime opportunitiesOpportunities for professional development and certificationExposure to a wide range of industrial and commercial projectsA small company culture that prioritizes teamwork and world class customer serviceReady to Power Up Your Career?If you're ready to take the next step in your electrical testing career, we’d love to hear from you.
