Job Description
* Provide expert SAP FICO technical consultation and support for financial system implementations.
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and functionality.
* Develop and implement configurations, enhancements, and customisations within SAP FICO modules.
* Resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support for system users.
* Conduct system testing and ensure the delivery of high‐quality solutions.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all SAP FICO‐related processes.
Stay updated on SAP advancements and recommend system improvements where applicable. As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant, you will play a key role in the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Finance solutions within a complex, integrated enterprise environment.
Key responsibilities include
* Designing, configuring, and customising SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, including FI‐GL, FI‐AP, FI‐AR, FI‐AA, and FI‐CO
* Leading SAP PPM/PS design workshops with business and technical stakeholders
* Driving system requirement discussions and supporting key design decisions
* Delivering integration with Materials Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Project Systems and HR
* Preparing functional specifications for WRICEF developments
* Developing test scripts and conducting unit and integration testing
* Supporting cut‐over and data migration activities
* Delivering end‐user training and knowledge transfer sessions
* Preparing high‐quality system documentation including configuration rationale, user guides and test artefacts
The Successful Applicant
You will be a hands‐on SAP Finance professional with strong functional depth and the ability to operate independently in a consulting delivery environment.
Mandatory experience:
* End‐to‐end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation experience
* Strong configuration experience across FI‐GL, FI‐AP, FI‐AR, FI‐AA, and FI‐CO
* Solid understanding of cost allocations, labour costing, settlements, and assessments
* Proven experience integrating FI with MM, PM, and Project Systems
* Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
Soft skills:
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving capability
* Clear and confident communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
* A valid working visa for Australia is required
