About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a dynamic team for a 6-month contract based in Sydney.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects within leading sectors, using modern frameworks and tools.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, developing, and implementing robust, maintainable Python applications.
Leveraging frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Flask, and libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
Integrating APIs and databases for data manipulation and analysis.
Writing unit and integration tests to ensure stability and performance.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews.
Staying ahead of Python trends and best practices.
The Successful Candidate
You will bring:
3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development with strong knowledge of core concepts, OOP principles, and data structures.
Proven ability to optimise code for performance, scalability, and security.
Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Flask and data libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate approach to delivering high-quality solutions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
