Job Overview
Our client is a global manufacturer of high-performance packaging machinery, supplying advanced solutions to food and beverage manufacturers across Australia. Their portfolio includes thermoforming, flow wrapping, tray sealing, vertical form fill & seal, and other automated packaging technologies. With continued growth and strong market demand, they are now seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to take ownership of a key southern region.
This is an autonomous, relationship-driven sales role, backed by a strong technical and service support team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a defined territory across Victoria and South Australia or Tasmania
* Develop new customer relationships while nurturing and expanding existing accounts
* Drive repeat business through strong relationship management and solution selling
* Identify opportunities across food and beverage manufacturers requiring packaging automation
* Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and solution discussions
* Work closely with internal technicians and managers to deliver the right technical outcomes
* Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to order placement
* Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and territory planning
* Travel interstate occasionally to support customers and develop new opportunities
About You
* Proven sales experience within packaging machinery or automated manufacturing equipment
* Strong knowledge of food and beverage packaging environments
* Experience with systems such as thermoforming, flow wrapping, tray sealing, VFFS or similar
* Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with a broader support team
* Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
* Commercially minded with a consultative, solutions-focused sales approach
* Willingness to travel interstate as required
