**Description**:
We are now offering Construction Management (or similar) undergraduate students the opportunity to undertake our Cadetship Program as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in our Sydney Tax and Asset Division.
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Tax and Asset Division you would be involved in services predominately related to the assessment of Capital Allowances (Tax Depreciation) for our high-profile clients across all sectors on new construction projects, property acquisitions, and ongoing capex projects.
**Key experience provided will include assisting with**:
Data sourcing, management, formatting, verification, and analysis
Asset identification, categorisation, measurement/quantification,
Cost analysis, componentisation/segregation, estimation
Asset Register preparation and maintenance
Report preparation

**Desired applicant attributes**:
Be an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Residency
Currently enrolled in a building or construction related degree with the intent to enter the Quantity Surveying profession
Strong numerical literacy, verbal and written communication with attention to detail
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
A desire to learn, take feedback constructively, and put new knowledge to use
A fast learner and problem solver who has strong attention to detail
Have professional attitude and ability to work independently
High level of personal organisation, flexibility and time management
Experience, and/or knowledge in areas relating to Asset Registers and Capital Allowances (Tax Depreciation)
