Job Title: Administration Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our governance team as an Administrative Officer. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment, ensuring critical processes are accurately managed and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update Council delegations in external databases and internal records.
* Cross-reference documents across databases and registries to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with governance requirements.
* Prepare and update instruments of delegation using Microsoft Word.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
* Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and suggest improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* High-level computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant applications.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Demonstrated initiative and the ability to suggest and implement process improvements.
