Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Production Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production machinery.
You will perform set-ups and changeovers, monitor process parameters, and carry out routine checks and basic adjustments within standard operating procedure limits. Additionally, you will maintain accurate shift records, elevate faults to Maintenance or Engineering as needed, and contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process or set-up changes that reduce waste, speed up changeovers, or improve quality.
Requirements
* Minimum 1+ years of previous experience operating process or packaging equipment in food manufacturing (or similar)
* Forklift license and recent experience is preferable
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, food safety, and consistent execution of SOPs
* Practical mechanical aptitude and the confidence to perform set-ups, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting within operator scope
* Good communication and teamwork skills; able to follow instructions and work cross-functionally with Quality and Maintenance when needed
