We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Commercial Analyst to join a high-performing Finance team in a growing, market-leading organisation. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with Operations, Customer Experience, and Real Estate teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Planning & Analysis: Take a lead role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for multiple operational units.
- P&L; Management: Own profit and loss analysis — identify trends, evaluate cost drivers, and recommend improvements.
- Decision Support: Deliver insightful, data-driven analysis to support decision-making and contribute to business growth.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior stakeholders with clarity and precision.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to drive cost-efficiency and alignment.
Requirements:
- Solid analytical skills and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
- Effective communication and influencing skills — confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and suggest improvements.
- A degree in finance or accounting; ideally working toward or holding a CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a finance role, ideally in FMCG or a fast-paced commercial setting.
- Familiarity with financial tools/systems such as JDE, BI, or Power BI.
- Strong Excel capabilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
