Location: Students' homes, tutor's home (if elected), online platforms, libraries, or other locations as reasonably agreed with the tutor

Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions, primarily one-on-one, aligned with each student's needs, and with consideration for the relevant school curriculum.
· Use your own and provided resources, templates, and guidance from Lexis Tuition to prepare and deliver tutoring sessions effectively.
· Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, parents, and colleagues.
· Maintain accurate records of lessons, student progress, and attendance.
· Follow all child protection guidelines, WWCC requirements, and online/remote learning protocols
· Coordinate with the Director regarding any session changes or cancellations, notifying promptly so adjustments can be made.
· Handle cash payments responsibly in rare cases, recording them accurately and reporting to the Director.
· Promote a positive learning environment and foster student confidence.
· Participate in check-ins and feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with Lexis Tuition's teaching standards, as reasonably required.

Reporting & Communication
· Report any lesson cancellations or changes promptly.
· Notify employer of any student absences or issues affecting lesson delivery.
· Submit records of completed lessons, including date, duration, and payment method, as required.
Requirements
· Valid paid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
· Ability to travel to student homes, if required.
· Reliable access to internet and technology for online tutoring.
· Evidence of academic qualifications, including official HSC results or equivalent transcripts in the subject area(s) you wish to tutor. Employment is contingent upon verification of these results.
Professional Expectations
· Maintain a neat and professional appearance when tutoring in-person.
· Adhere to all child protection and WWCC requirements.
· Respect student confidentiality and privacy.
· Follow all Lexis Tuition policies and procedures, including payment reporting and lesson scheduling.
· Represent Lexis Tuition as a reputable, community-trusted tutoring service.
· All tutors receive ongoing training, mentoring, and support from the Director to ensure consistent high-quality teaching and professional development
Remuneration
High school tutoring (Years 7-12)
· $50–$55 per hour (including superannuation) for one-on-one lessons, depending on location and travel distance from the tutor's home, as reasonably agreed.
· $40 (including superannuation) per student for 2 or more students in 120-minute workshops.
Primary school tutoring (Years K-6)
· $37–$42 per hour (including superannuation) for all lessons, depending on location and travel distance from the tutor's home, as reasonably agreed.
