Service Summary
The Digital Performance Marketing Manager is a senior-level performance marketing position focused on driving revenue growth through the strategic execution of paid search, social, and SEO channels for the Australian legal and financial sectors. The primary objectives include overseeing external agency relationships to ensure KPI accountability, auditing campaigns for cost-efficiency, and optimizing lead-nurturing funnels via CRM and automation tools. Successful delivery requires a highly analytical approach to managing multi-channel budgets, translating complex data into commercial insights for leadership, and scaling high-intent lead generation across products.
Service Deliverables
Performance & Revenue Growth
* Develop and execute performance marketing growth plans aligned to revenue targets
* Own cost per lead and cost per conversion metrics across all product lines
* Identify new digital channels, growth opportunities, and A/B testing frameworks
* Optimise lead nurturing programs across Family Law and Estate Funding product areas
* Use AI and automation tools proactively to amplify output and efficiency
Agency Leadership (Months 13 Priority)
* Act as Account Director across external Paid Search, Paid Socials, and SEO agency relationships
* Set and enforce clear KPIs; hold partners accountable for strategy, creative, targeting, and results
* Review testing roadmaps to ensure they are commercially focused and results-driven
* Audit existing campaigns to eliminate wasted spend and surface quick wins
* Make documented recommendations to leadership on digital strategy and media spend
SEO, Paid Search & Paid Social
* Guide keyword and content strategies targeting family law and estate lending audiences in Australia
* Optimise high-intent Google Search campaigns; manage Quality Scores, bid strategies, and ad copy
* Strengthen retargeting and nurture funnels across Meta and Google Display
* Oversee LinkedIn presence and support event/webinar exposure with law firm partners
* Monitor GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) trends and adapt strategy accordingly
Conversion & Lead Nurturing
* Improve landing page performance and application completion rates
* Work with our internal tech team to optimise CRM workflows, lead capture, Google Tag Manager, and automated nurture sequences.
* Refine audience segmentation to improve lead quality and conversion rates
* Collaborate with Head of Marketing on CRM communications strategy for Family Law and Estate campaigns
Analytics & Reporting
* Own performance dashboards and attribution tracking
* Translate data into clear commercial insights; present concisely to leadership
* Deliver monthly reporting tied directly to revenue outcomes and funnel health
Qualifications
Non-Negotiable Requirements
* 5+ years in digital performance marketing, with proven hands-on SEM and/or Paid Social experience
* Demonstrated experience managing external agencies and holding them accountable for results
* Strong command of Google Ads (Search, Display, Remarketing) including campaign build, bid strategy, and quality score management
* Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, audience targeting, and funnel strategy
* Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation (HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, or similar)
* Solid understanding of SEO principles and how paid and organic strategies complement each other
* Analytical mindset: comfortable with Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, or similar reporting platforms
* Excellent English written and spoken communication you will present strategy and recommendations directly to Australian leadership
Strongly Preferred
* Experience working with Australian or APAC clients or brands.
* Background in financial services, lending, legal, or regulated industries.
* Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and attribution modelling.
* Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Jasper, etc.) to accelerate content, research, and campaign ideation.
* LinkedIn advertising and B2B audience experience.
