Permanent full-time, day worker, with on-call duties, working 76 hours per fortnight.

Who Are We Looking For?
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology provides a consultative service supported by a level 4 maternity, neonatal, and intensive care units. The maternity unit at North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) handles approximately 1000 births annually. Staff include experienced midwives and specialists, with outreach clinics at regional centres. The department offers excellent continuing education opportunities and includes services like colposcopy and laparoscopy.
This position is suitable for highly skilled and motivated medical professionals passionate about healthcare improvement. You will lead and develop healthcare services at both patient and system levels and participate in an after-hours on-call roster, typically 1 in 5 weekdays and weekends.
Salary :
Specialist Medical Practitioners Level 1 - Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 : $216,300 - $310,389 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation.
Access to the higher salary range is subject to meeting specific criteria outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award.

* Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
