We're looking for a Principal Human Health / Ecological Risk Assessor to lead and deliver high-level risk assessments across Australia. You'll be a national technical lead, mentoring our growing team and guiding clients through complex regulatory and scientific challenges.
What You'll Be Doing
* Delivering detailed human health and ecological risk assessments for contaminated sites
* Leading the development of Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) and exposure assessments
* Interpreting toxicological, site, and exposure data to inform health/ecological risks
* Reviewing or preparing site-specific risk-based criteria
* Advising clients, auditors and regulators on site management strategies
* Supporting business development and proposal writing
* Mentoring and training emerging risk assessors within the team
What You'll Need
* Degree in Environmental Science, Toxicology, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry or similar
* Solid experience in risk assessment roles (consulting or regulator)
* Strong technical knowledge of NEPM, CRC CARE, enHealth and relevant state-based frameworks
* Experience working on complex industrial or contaminated land sites
* Confidence working with multidisciplinary teams and clients
* A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in mentoring others
