Storeperson/Truck Driver role at Illawarra Mercury, based in Wollongong. This permanent position involves loading/unloading doors, inventory control, and local and country deliveries, with occasional overnight trips.
Responsibilities
Loading and unloading doors
Receipt of goods in the system
Inventory control
Maintain a daily register of all equipment
Local and country deliveries
Manual handling with some heavy lifting
Ensure workplace health and safety compliance
Follow directions of the Manager
Experience and Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
Valid MR Truck driver license is compulsory
Forklift license is essential
Technical experience
Must be able to do overnight trips potentially weekly
Loads installers and receives loads
Competencies
Good customer service skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
Ability to work in a team workplace
