About the role
Join the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and play a vital role in supporting our procurement and contract management processes. As a Contract Administration Officer, you will assist with the development and administration of low-value contracts, ensuring compliance with government and PTA procurement policies. Your responsibilities will include purchasing goods and services, creating and managing purchase orders, and conducting compliance reviews to maintain high standards across our divisions and branches.
The ideal candidate will have experience in contract development and administration, a sound understanding of procurement policies and procedures, and proficiency in computerised purchasing systems. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. You will also demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
This role offers variety, including supporting fleet management services and contributing to business support functions such as invoice validation and expenditure reporting. About You
To excel in this role, you should possess:
* Experience supporting contract development and administration.
* Knowledge of the application of procurement policies and procedures.
* Experience with computerised purchasing systems and processes.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team and to contribute to the attainment of team goals and outputs.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with experience working with, and maintaining relations with, a range of stakeholders.
* Written communication skills, including the ability to draft routine correspondence and reports.
