Summerland Support Services is expanding and seeking an experienced, values driven Team Leader to oversee services supporting young people and individuals with psychosocial disability, including those in Supported Independent Living (SIL).
The Opportunity
Lead and mentor frontline staff, coordinate high quality supports, and drive positive client outcomes using person centred practice. Work closely with Service Delivery to create safe environments that foster independence, dignity, and meaningful community participation.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and support teams across SIL and community programs
* Coach staff to deliver person centred, strengths based support
* Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policy
* Develop and manage budgets
* Communicate effectively with participants, families, and professionals
* Contribute to skill development, quality improvement, and roster management

A confident, capable leader who empowers others, exercises sound judgment, maintains professional boundaries, and remains calm in dynamic environments.
Skills and desirable attributes
* Leadership experience in disability, youth, residential care, or mental health
* Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans and safety procedures
* Strong knowledge of psychosocial disability and complex support needs
* Excellent communication and problem solving capability
* Commitment to person centred practice
Preferred Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Mental Health, Disability, Youth Work, Social Work, and / or extensive experience.

Working with Children Check
First Aid and CPR
Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
