Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to help propel government customers' digital transformation journeys with human-centered design thinking and consultation.
Responsibilities
Evolve and shape the strategy, architecture, platform, and standards for the Integration team.
Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for the integration domain.
Lead & mentor integration team through complex, multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance.
Specify and publish standards around APIs and Integrations.
Takes ownership of integration architecture to solve business problems and generate maximum value for stakeholders.
Transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications.
Partner with other functions across IT & business to ensure collaboration, consistency, and quality of solutions.
Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.
Ensure self and development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards.
Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers.
Provide continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances.
Maintain transparent communication – appropriate communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email communication.
Understanding the business processes, pain points, business needs and customer experience to design MuleSoft based technical solutions.
Achieve appropriate technical certifications on offer from MuleSoft and Confluent and apply their capabilities appropriately to business problems.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years working in the MuleSoft and Confluent ecosystem as an Integration Architect with experience in transforming complex strategic business requirements into workable solutions.
Bachelor's degree level or higher.
MuleSoft, Confluent and relevant certifications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Leadership.
Experience with enterprise integration patterns.
Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and API strategy development.
Experience with the entire API development lifecycle from design & build to governance & management.
Experience with event broker platforms like Kafka and Solace.
Experience integrating with SaaS solutions like Salesforce.com, Splunk and Azure.
Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols such as XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBC.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts, and build pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Experience with Domain driven design and data modelling.
