We are looking for enthusiastic people to work as a Personal Care Worker in Dubbo NSW.
What does a Personal Care Worker do?
Personal Care Workers help people with disabilities who are living in their homes with:
· Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming etc)
· Domestic assistance (mopping, vacuuming cleaning etc)
· Assist with preparing meals
· Social support and transport to appointments and shopping
What do I need to have to be a Personal Care Worker?
· Good people skills
· Willingness to learn
· Common sense and flexibility
· Mature, caring personality
· Fully vaccinated for Covid-19
· NDIS Clearance check (or willingness to get one if successful)
WWCC
· Previous experience working with disabilities and/or qualifications such as a Certificate III in Disability for example, is great, but not essential as training will be provided. Personal experience, for example with a family member with a disability, will also be highly regarded.
· Driver's Licence and own car
· 2 references that we are able to contact
What's in it for me?
· $38.57 an hour, Includes Super (casual base rate)
· Penalty rates - all paid well above the award
· Shifts available Monday to Sunday with a minimum shift of 2 hours.
