Casual Retail Art Gallery Assistant

The Artisan Store Fremantle is seeking a casual retail gallery assistant, 2-3 full days a week, with the flexibility to do occasional additional days as required. Must be available for weekend work. We are looking for someone sophisticated, mature, bright, pro-active, detail oriented, and strong aesthetic, with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for all mediums of art who has great customer service skills and is tech savvy. Photography skills and experience with website e-commerce is an advantage. Not suitable for school students.
Job Description:
Retail Assistant -
-Manages sales,
-Receive artists’ works, stock control and management
-Responding to Emails
-Deliver and maintain our high customer care standards
-An eye for detail to uphold our visual merchandising standards
-The ability to multi-task and balance customer care with other duties required
-The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-maintaining clean shelving and products
-A desire to challenge yourself and show initiative in your work
-Photograph artwork
-Contributes to social media accounts (FB, Instagram, Twitter)
-Contributes to gallery website (woocommerce, photoshop, wordpress, google merchant)
-Maintains and updates mailing lists (Outlook, Mailchimp)
