This role provides rostered shifts that ensure stability and the opportunity to provide genuine impact with our clients.
Role Description
* Assist people to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community, remove barriers and engage in a full life;
* Personal care including continence care, mealtime management, helping people shower, getting dressed and performing daily activities, laundry etc.
* Assisting with light housework;
* Providing social support to people with disabilities and people experiencing mental health;
* Support to develop and build self-confidence;
* Support with reviewing and updating care support plans
Qualifications and Experience
* Current QLD Driver's License
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Current WWVP card including NDIS clearance and Working with Children
* Compulsory Comprehensive Insurance on private vehicle
* NDIS Orientation Certificate or ability to obtain.
* Complex Care Experience
* Mental Health Experience
* Certificate III in Individual Support Disability/Aged Care or related studies (or willing to undertake)
* Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS system.
* Sound experience in the disability or allied health/welfare/education fields.
