AHLG are seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Team Leader who will take ownership of our commercial portfolio – estimating and tendering for new opportunities, leading our commercial crew, and delivering exceptional outcomes across large-scale landscape contracts, aged care sites, and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing:
* A competitive salary package will be offered, including a company ute
* Leading and managing AHLG’s Commercial Maintenance team
* Estimating and pricing commercial garden maintenance projects, including large landscape contracts, aged care facilities, and commercial sites.
* Preparing and submitting high-quality tenders and contract responses
* Reviewing scopes, conducting site inspections and building accurate costings
* Managing budgets, forecasting and ensuring projects are delivered profitably
* Programming works and allocating labour and resources efficiently
* Leading, mentoring and developing commercial maintenance team members
* Building strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and to AHLG’s high standards
* Identifying growth opportunities within existing contracts and new markets
What we're after:
* Proven experience in commercial garden maintenance or landscaping
* Strong estimating and tendering experience (local government and aged care highly regarded)
* Solid understanding of contract management, margins and cost control
* Confident leadership skills with experience managing teams on-site
* Ability to interpret specifications, scopes and drawings
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Current driver’s licence (essential)
