Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate and evidence-based psychological services.
The successful candidate will have a recognised degree in Psychology, current registration to practice as a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and broad recent postgraduate clinical experience in psychological assessment, treatment and rehabilitation methods.
Responsibilities will include providing timely, clinically, and culturally appropriate evidence-based psychology services, providing expert advice within the multidisciplinary team on program and clinical issues, and providing leadership, supervision, mentorship, and education to staff using evidence-based concepts and research.
* Provide high quality, culturally appropriate and evidence-based psychological services to clients.
* Work effectively with clients and carers of diverse backgrounds to achieve positive health outcomes.
* Initiate, implement and complete continuous quality improvement and service development activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Recognised degree in Psychology with current registration to practice as a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA.
* Broad recent postgraduate clinical experience in psychological assessment, treatment and rehabilitation methods.
* Demonstrated experience working effectively with clients and carers of diverse backgrounds.
* Proven ability to initiate, implement and complete continuous quality improvement and service development activities.
