* $110k - $114k + Super + Salary Packaging up to $15,900


About the opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Clinician to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, young people, and their families. In this role, you will engage in clinical assessment and therapeutic support with children and young people who have displayed harmful sexual behaviour and their families/caregivers.

You'll be part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed and culturally informed assessments, collaborating with key stakeholders to develop holistic therapeutic and safety plans. This role also offers the chance to contribute to program development, training, and research activities that strengthen ACF's evidence-based therapeutic services.

About you – Key Selection Criteria

* An appropriate tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or a related discipline.
* Eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association.
* Demonstrated capacity to work in a culturally safe manner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, families, carers, and communities.
* Demonstrated knowledge of trauma, attachment and neurobiology frameworks and theories.
* Substantial experience in the area of child abuse and/or in working with traumatised children, including delivering a range of appropriate therapeutic interventions to the client group.
* A sophisticated understanding of the complexity of the service system and the issues in providing services to statutory clients.
* Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively and the capacity to negotiate and liaise with volunteers, including carers, Territory Families, Housing and Communities, other agencies and the community.
* A current Northern Territory driver's licence or equivalent.
* A current Working with Children Check (Ochre Card).
