Accounting Specialist
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in a business advisory role.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a range of accounting tasks including financial reporting, management accounts and tax returns. This will involve using Xero, MYOB and Reckon software to produce accurate and timely results.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Producing and maintaining financial reports
2. Preparing tax returns, FBT and financial statements for different business entity types
3. Preparing BAS and IAS returns
4. Calculating and reconciling payroll tax
5. Preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPIs for clients
6. Assisting with the development of junior colleagues

About You
To succeed in this role you will need established accounting experience, a relevant tertiary qualification and be studying or aspiring to achieve CA or CPA qualifications. You will also need experience preparing tax returns for small to medium size businesses and generating financial statements and management reports.
You will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
