This role offers the opportunity to represent multiple leading brands, work closely with suppliers and industry experts, and connect with a broad customer base.
About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will engage in daily, face-to-face interactions with both existing and potential customers. Your primary focus will be to expand our complementary medicines business by providing education on our products, fostering strong relationships, and driving sales through a consultative, knowledge-based approach.
* Maintain and expand relationships with new and existing customers.
* Proactively source and qualify new leads to drive sales growth.
* Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals.
* Achieve and exceed set sales targets.
* Understand customer needs and highlight the value of our products and services.
* Provide support to other sales divisions when needed.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
* Represent the company at industry events, which may require after-hours or weekend attendance.
About You:
* Qualified in Naturopathy, Nutrition, or a related field – industry knowledge is more important than sales experience
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and educate customers
* Resilient, driven, and able to thrive in a highly competitive market.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
* A passion for complementary medicines and the industry as a whole.
