About The Opportunity
* Focal point for suppliers and program stakeholders, providing guidance and advice on commercial, contractual and production capabilities.
* Lead supplier contracting activities, including developing, managing and executing supplier procurements and contract administration.
* Act as an authorised procurement agent, championing suppliers internally and managing close relationships.
* Contribute directly to the success of the MQ-28 supply chain and production.
About The Role
* Exercise signature authority in negotiating and contracting for procurement of products, services, technologies and licensing of intellectual property.
* Create and manage requests for quotation to suppliers and evaluate/negotiate contracts.
* Represent the company in external negotiations with diverse suppliers.
* Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding complex contractual agreements.
* Coordinate and partner with other internal functional disciplines.
* Support a structured risk management process and develop mitigation plans.
About You
Collaborative team player with well‑developed analytical, written and verbal skills. Autonomously challenges the status quo and drives continuous improvement with suppliers.
Qualifications
* Essential:
* Formal qualifications in Law, Accounting, Business or Supply Chain Management.
* At least 3 years' experience in procurement, contracting or contract management roles.
* Demonstrated skills in negotiation, contract management and end‑to‑end procurement.
* Experience in supply chain procurement analysis.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Stakeholder engagement and management skills.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Desirable:
* Experience in innovative contractual and commercial acquisition strategies.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of IP, liabilities, insurance, indemnities, pricing and procurement concepts.
