Adult Emergency Medicine Opportunity
Mater Hospital is seeking a medical practitioner to join its Adult Emergency Department as a Senior House Officer, Principal House Officer, Registrar, Provisional Fellow or Senior Medical Officer. This role presents an exceptional chance for advanced training with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.
The department features Short Stay Units and a Medical Assessment Unit, supporting active registrar teaching programs for Primary and Fellowship candidates undertaking FACEM training.
To be eligible, applicants should possess general registration with AHPRA and be registered as a trainee with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine or intend to do so. Additionally, they should have at least 2 years' postgraduate experience (3 years for Registrar/PHO) and extensive experience in emergency medicine.
Prior experience in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Rural Emergency Medicine is highly desirable. Mater Hospital is a teaching hospital of the University of Queensland, offering opportunities for academic appointment to the university.
