We are now seeking an experienced Head of Growth & Culture to lead HR, compliance, performance management and operational rhythm across our group.
Key Responsibilities
People, Culture & Performance
Own and lead employment, onboarding, training, performance management and annual reviews
Use our values and minimum performance standards to reward, coach, promote or manage underperformance
Identify high‐potential team members and support their growth and development
Retain the team members we want to retain
Risk, Compliance & Governance
Proactively mitigate grievances, compliance risks and unnecessary business exposure
Oversee all compliance obligations across the group
Liaise with key industry bodies including REEF, REI NSW and NSW Fair Trading
Ensure leaders are informed, trained and compliant with all regulatory changes
Schedule and coordinate internal and external training across all departments
Test, train and measure compliance and role‐specific knowledge quarterly
Maintain Real Estate Central as the single source of truth for procedures, scripts, expectations and compliance
Operations & Leadership Support
Assist with day‐to‐day office operations and problem‐solving
Oversee IT, phone and tech issues where appropriate
Work closely with service providers and consultants to ensure alignment with our culture and objectives
Act as a trusted advisor on people, risk and culture matters
About You
You are:
A confident, values‐driven leader who is comfortable making tough decisions
Highly organised, process‐driven and compliance‐focused
Commercially minded, you understand that people strategy impacts profitability
Calm under pressure and skilled in managing sensitive conversations
Passionate about culture, accountability and continuous improvement
You will likely have:
Senior experience in HR, People & Culture, Operations or Compliance
Strong knowledge of employment frameworks and workplace risk
Experience implementing performance management frameworks
Exceptional communication skills and leadership presence
A genuine desire to raise standards and leave things better than you found them
Real estate experience is highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate.
